This item was pristine when delivered with the leather laces tucked into the shoe. The shoe is exactly the right size and comfortable to wear. This is a boat shoe and is not intended for prolonged walking. The sole is thin and flexible which makes for easy wearing and comfort, but not over long distances. The finish along the seam lines is near perfect - certainly excellent for the price. I would definitely buy this style and brand again.I had intended to give 4 stars but the limitation is in the type of article, not the quality, and on that score, it is 5 stars.
