These shoes were NOT as red as they looked in the picture - which was actually better for me as I like the "burgundy" look better!No arch plus the quality is not very good.but it is a nice shoe. But buy the next size up from your regular size. He could not get these loafers on his feet. So I gave them to my Father in law.The bottom of the soles are more like a popular driving moccasin type shoe.The leather is soft and the stitching is very good. The buckle is a nice touch especially if you decided to wear these with a pair of slacks for work.I also ordered him a similar style in grey from this seller and they do look quite nice with a good quality denim jean too. A dressy casual look.The shoes are a bit narrowing toward the top of the foot as you can see in photos.Very high quality shoe for the price point. The shoes are quite comfortable if you get them to fit, so order a full size up.My husband is bummed these did not fit his feet but my father in law who has a narrower foot and a size 9 is loving these shoes.More like a driving moccasin type sole or very luxurious house shoe/slipper. The shoes are a little narrow in the toe area so they felt a little tight at first. He wore them for a few hours to try to stretch them a bit. He said they do fit better after wearing them for a while and he does like them. The buckle on these shoes is a nice addition and makes them look very stylish. The stitching is nice and there are no loose threads. These shoes can be worn for dress or casual. After wearing these for a bit, my husband says they are comfortable and he does like these shoes. There are several colors available to choose from. They have a nice rubber sole on the bottom and they are easy to put on and take off. These are good quality and I am satisfied with them.
