I purchased these boots for my husband as he finds it nearly impossible to find a size 12 footwear in any retail store, we now shop solely on amazon for all his footwear needs because we know we can always get size 12 shoes here.These firetrap boots are replicas of Timberland euro trekker boots and for all intensive purposes are made in the same factory as there seems to be no distinguishing quality differences between them.As you can see from the pictures attached to this review the only real difference is the embroidered logos and the different lace up eyelets, time will be the real testament to there lasting quality as the Timberlands have lasted 7 years hopefully these firetrap boots will do the same.Also worthy of note is the level of sole grip provided by the firetrap boots they are far more substantial than other comparable men's boots, and this is of major benefit in adverse conditions.The price paid for the boots is a real bargain in my opinion compared to others of similar style some costing nearly three times as much and with no easy recognizable quality difference.Personally I prefer the more unstated colour of the firetrap boots and in particular the navy grey variant that I ordered.To summarise I believe these boots to be of high quality and at a great price you cannot really say fairer than that.
