I have a wide foot with a high instep, so I ordered a half-size up from my normal wider E 10.5, and these shoes fit perfectly. They are more of a slipper than a shoe, and the foam insole with a felt covering quickly took on the contour of the soles of feet. At first, the narrow outer sole of the shoe was so narrow that I was a little off balance, but as the shoe contoured itself to the shape of my foot, I came to routinely look for this easy entry shoe as my standard indoor-wear slipper/shoe. I may even get a second pair if these prove to be long-wearing, durable shoes. What I like most is the heel design. The lip of the shoe heel brushes by my foot when I first push my foot into the shoe, and then my foot naturally slips back a bit, to fit my whole heel snugly. I have not used socks with this shoe yet, but when I do, they are going to stay in place and not get sucked down into my shoe like my typical slip-on shoes tend to do with many thin socks I wear in the winter. Purchasing these unique shoes was a pleasant surprise because they fit so well!
